These are a pair of miners who spend most of their time looking for Scottish Gold which is prevalent in the area that they live in. So far they have found enough to create two pairs of gold earrings and a gold ring. Their plan is to mine enough gold to send then through university before returnining to their homelands to set up properly in gold mining business.
